Before the year ends...

Sun Dec 27, 2009, 7:41 AM
I know I haven't been very committed on submitting stuff on time. And just like that, I see another year pass me by so suddenly. I look at myself in the mirror and I look like a mess. I have these problems with myself and keeping track on responsibilities and whatnot. :(

And now, I face the year's end, thinking what the hell have I been doing wrong? Why is time traveling so fast now? I know I shouldn't be worrying to much on things bigger than myself, but I really can't help but wonder in all these thoughts.

Like I kept saying before, and I still continue to, no matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it might be, with patience and perseverance, I'll get there one day~

So with that, I want to greet you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! =D

Repairs and Recovery

Thu Nov 26, 2009, 2:58 AM
Recently I installed windows 7. It was cool and all, just that I ended up re-downloading everything that I needed to get everything running properly.

One was I didn't have photoshop and so I thought I'd get a PS4 instead of using my antique CS2 or older than that...

So now I have just recently posted. Haven't begun work on the 3rd page of my comic and I also plan on making some Christmas themed stuff before it comes around and I seriously HOPE I actually get one up. I've been planning for years and I can't get any holiday stuff up when they arrive... DX

Oh! I also have group work to attend to, you see every season we do this Lantern Parade thingy every December, planning starts now tho and we plan to make it better than last year. =D

So cheers~!

Life Goes On

Thu Nov 12, 2009, 6:33 AM
Alright, so another long time of not being able to post around, now comes the 2nd semester of the school year and time starts turning for me once more!

Man, so much stuff left over that needs to be done... I blame the massive flooding and raining and cleaning and stuff. Then again I'm thankful that it came. As complacent as my race had become, it was about time it got splashed on the face and wake up to what the world really is and get back up on our feet.

So yeah class starts now and the lantern parade is coming up. We'ze gonna make ourselves a float and boy, what a float it'll be! :mwahaha:

It's also weird that I get more art done during classes than when I'm at home ;P so I'll be posting again soon enough. My apologies for those who waited too long. :(

Bloody Storm

Sun Oct 4, 2009, 5:55 PM
A storm of epic proportions hit this country just recently. That day, it rained so much as an amount that would equal an entire month's rain. It caused a serious flood to a lot of areas in my country. Property, homes, and loved ones were lost that day.

I had relatives in my old grandma's home that dealt with numerous stormy day floods once before, but never this big. It flooded two floors of the old ancient home. And if it weren't for my late grandpa's construction of iron pillars around the house, it would have ended up getting swept or destroyed. They had to stay up the roof and shelter other neighbors who were in the area from the flood.

I'm thankful that my family did not suffer casualties that day. But the devastation it wrought upon the other families of this country continues to hit on my heart. Although despite these hard times, this storm actually brought something good for this country. It awakened the dormant spirit of "bayanihan" or what our people call heroism in the midst of crisis. The spirit of raising each other up from hardship. It was so glorious it would bring tears to your eyes.

I spent most of the week helping my relatives who got hit by the flood. I cleaned up a bit, but then they requested me to just give their kids a place to stay and clothes to wear so I watched over them at my house for the week and gave them a good time like a good Kuya (big bro) should.

Right now I have plates to catch up to, I have no regrets not doing them during this time since there are just some things more important right now. And thus I have not been able to upload any art as well atm. Will get back to you guys once this matter has settled.

Peace!
